author Matthew E. "Matt" Adams has sold over 1,000,000books,
making him one of the most successful authors of the last five years.
Matt Adams is an international golf media personality, appearing regularly
on the Golf Channel, where he fills the role of both reporter
and columnist, and he is the host of the Fairways
of Life Show on the PGA Tour Network, which is beamed
around the world via satellite. He has been called
"the best interviewer in golf, employing his journalistic
background to go beyond the superficial and get
to the true heart of the matter." His guests have
included Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Greg
Norman. Matt Adams has also done live play-by-play for both
the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour and he is
a highly sought after corporate and event speaker,
delivering a message of inspiration, hope and
courage for all to follow their dreams.
Matt Adams began he
media career in the production department at
ESPN, where his assignments were the NHL,
NFL and SportCenter. He left sports media full-time to pursue his
passion for the game of golf, working in golf equipment manufacturing
for nearly two decades, where he built clubs for companies including
Nicklaus, Wilson, Ram and MacGregor, among others. In 2002, Matt Adams
co-authored his first book, Chicken Soup for
the Soul of America, which benefited the New
York Area Relief Fund. The book became a world-wide best
seller and launched him on yet another successful
career path. His most recent books have taken him back
to golf, where he is an expert on both golf
equipment technology and history. Matt Adams is also a
golf course operations consultant.
